Paddle Out at Hanaka‘ō‘ō Beach Park; 7:00am - 1:30pm
On Friday, August 8, 2025, Hanaka‘ō‘ō Beach Park will host a Paddle Out for surfers and paddlers from 7 a.m. to 1:30pm. Spectators may watch from shore. The event will feature messages of hope, prayers, and music. Due to limited parking and public safety needs, Hanaka‘ō‘ō Beach Park will have designated equipment drop-off and pick-up areas only. Vehicle parking will be at the Lahaina Civic Center with shuttle service provided.
Schedule of Events:
7:00am - Shuttles begins service
9:30am - Program begins
10:00am - Launch
11:15am - Return to shore

For air safety and to respect privacy, no drones. Paddle out is for participants on individual equipment. We are discouraging one man canoes or kayaks. Preference is toward surf boards and swimmers with fins. For air safety and to respect privacy, no drones. For the safety of participants, no unauthorized personal motorized boats are to be in the paddle out ocean gathering area.
Know your limits. Lets all be safe!
